Wilson, 16, scored 49 goals for Gers’ youngsters last season and will go straight into Villa’s academy system at Bodymoor Heath.

The teenager also made his debut for Scotland U17s in September of 2021 whom he has since go onto make 11 appearances for, bagging eight goals in that time.

Wilson joins Ashley Young as Villa’s second signing of the day after the veteran penned a one-year extension to keep him at Villa Park on Monday morning.
