According to the Express & Star, Wesley has joined newly relegated Levante on a loan deal until the end of the season.

Though, Levante are said to have an option to buy locked into the agreement, giving them the chance to sign Wesley permanently.

According to the report, Levante can sign the Villa star permanently on a deal worth £9million if they win promotion back to the top flight.

Villa signed Wesley for as much as £22million, so they could end up taking a very big hit.

AC Milan are set to be stepping up their efforts to land Villa starley Carney Chukwuemeka.

The youngster is set to leave Villa Park this summer having resisted talks over a new contract at Villa.

Calciomercato say Milan are now ‘serious’ about pulling off a deal after Chukwuemeka gave his ‘approval’ to the Serie A champions.

The report claims the deal would be in the region of £15million, with Villa unable to charge too much given the player’s contract situation.
