Families can pick up two British-grown medium pumpkins for just £1 with a Nectar card, making Halloween carving a little cheaper this year
Halloween can be an expensive time for decorations, but Sainsbury’s is helping families save with a special pumpkin deal.
If you have a Nectar card, you can buy two medium-sized pumpkins for just £1, which works out at 50p each.
Without a Nectar card, the pumpkins still cost a reasonable 59p each. This makes it easy to pick up a couple for carving, decorating, or even cooking.

Sainsbury’s categorises these as medium pumpkins. Larger ones are available for £1.75, and there’s also a "monster pumpkin" priced at £3 for those wanting something bigger.
Interestingly, the medium pumpkins are cheaper than the mini decorative squashes, which retail at £1.35 each this year.
All pumpkins are grown in the UK. Sainsbury’s advises storing them in a cool, dry place to keep them fresh, especially if you buy them ahead of Halloween. Keeping them whole until you’re ready to carve or decorate is best.
The Nectar card offer is valid for delivery or collection until October 31, while stocks last.
