Factory Works – Digbeth

This large former warehouse is a stylish alternative to a more traditional setting for pictures.

Trendy, urban and chic, Factory Works is Digbeth’s newest wedding venue located in the heart of the legendary Custard Factory.

The vast industrial space in the exclusive-use wedding venue provides a blank canvas for couples who may have a particular theme in mind.

Space is not an issue as 400 guests can be seated for the wedding breakfast in the main area.

Forest of Arden Marriott Hotel & Country Club – Meriden

Highbury Hall – Moseley

With its stunning architecture to elegant surroundings, this Grade II-listed manor house oozes the romantic atmosphere perfect for the big day.

Originally built in 1878 as a family home by Birmingham’s parliamentarian Rt Hon Joseph Chamberlain, the property has room for 100 guests for ceremonies and wedding breakfast and up to 150 for the evening reception.

Located just three miles from the centre of Birmingham and surrounded by acres of breathtaking landscaped gardens, there is no shortage of opportunity for amazing pictures.

The Drawing Room, which is licensed to hold both civil wedding and partnership ceremonies, has grand, ornate wooden ceilings and views of the surrounding countryside.

Moor Hall Hotel & Spa – Four Oaks

Set at the end of a long tree-lined drive in picturesque surroundings and convenient for local churches, the hotel’s sweeping lawns and historic sunken garden provide a unique and beautiful backdrop for your wedding snaps.

New Hall Hotel & Spa – Sutton Coldfield

Shustoke Farm Barns – Coleshill

This 18th-century red brick barn has been transformed into a spectacular event centre and can accommodate 250 guests.

The rustic wedding venue is transformed for each element of the day – from a candlelit ceremony to after-dinner dancing.

An elevated timber ceiling soars over flagstone floors, with huge oak beams and eye-catching glass detail.

Expansive gothic timber and glass-arched doors open out from the barn into a courtyard, where guests can socialise among ancient olive trees and, if needs be, keep warm around glowing fire pits as chefs cook up a feast on a giant outdoor barbecue.

The barn can accommodate 140 guests for a civil ceremony and banquet and 200 for dancing, including 60 additional evening guests.

The Distillery – City centre

If a water setting is your thing, then celebrating overlooking Birmingham’s famous canal at The Distillery in Sheepcote Street is likely to be right up your street.

The unique setting is split over two floors, with a gin bar and private event space on the first floor leading down to the pub and open kitchen dining area on the lower floor, whilst the large terrace is ideal for an outdoor drinks reception looking across the canal.
