Former Love Island star Liberty Poole insists she will not shy away from - or be fazed by - ‘skimpy’ Dancing on Ice costumes as she prepares to star in the 14th series of the popular ITV show.
Dancing on Ice returned to our screens last night (Sunday, January 16 ) where the first 12 celebrity contestants took to the ice. Liberty, a former Nando’s waitress and marketing student from Birmingham, will make her debut on the ice on January 23.
Ms Poole rose to fame on another popular ITV show, Love Island, alongside Jake Cornish. The pair coupled up on day one and were everyone’s favourites to win, before some questionable behaviour from Cornish meant the pair split, and left the villa single just days before the final, which was eventually won by Liam Reardon and Millie Grace-Court.
Fans of the show would have seen Liberty in a bikini for the duration of the show, and that exact reason is why she isn’t afraid of potentially revealing costumes she will wear on Dancing on Ice.
She has admitted that fans of the show can expect the Birmingham native to see ‘eye-catching’ outfits, and says she excited for people to witness her costumes.
Speaking to The Sun, she said: “The Dancing on Ice costumes are revealing but feel modest compared with the bikinis I was in almost 24 hours a day on Love Island.
“I’ve tried on one so far and I loved it, it was so pretty, I can’t wait for everyone to see it”
Liberty has been paired with pro-skater Joe Johnson, who is also making his debut on the show, and her, together with her management team believed it would be a good show for her to appear on, after finding fame on Love Island.
She followers fellow ex-islanders Maura Higgins and Wes Nelson, who both appeared on the show after Love Island, with both performing well.
