“Becoming a registered charity doesn’t change who we are, our values, or the passions that have always driven us.

“WILD has operated on a not-for-profit basis for some time, with our focus firmly centred on what matters most to us: our animals, protecting wildlife, educating and inspiring future generations, and connecting people with the natural world as well as providing unforgettable family memories for our guests.

“What charitable status does give us is the opportunity to take those ambitions even further.

“And we have some HUGE plans in the pipeline… As many of you already know, we’re currently searching for WILD’s new home.

“We’ve reached an exciting point in our development where it’s time to spread our wings.

“We’ve been to see lots of potential sites over the last 12 months but we are still on the hunt for the perfect place!

“Our vision is to create a home that gives us the space to continue delivering the unforgettable wildlife experiences WILD has become known for, while developing benchmark facilities for education and inclusive access for all, animal welfare and conservation.

“We are delighted to announce the first of our celebrity patrons for the charity, Raul Jimenez and actor Daniela Basso!

“Their family have been friends and regular visitors to WILD for many years, and we are incredibly grateful for their continued friendship and support of our work and our future.

“This is the beginning of an exciting new chapter for WILD.”
