Almost 90 properties in Birmingham without power due to fault
The fault initially cut power to 182 properties.
More than 80 properties in Birmingham are currently without power.
National Grid engineers became aware of a fault on underground power cables at around 5.22am today (October 23).
The fault was initially affecting 182 properties in the area - but many have been restored already.
Works are being done to restore power to the remaining 89 across the following postcode areas:
- B11 2EX
- B11 2JP
- B11 3EX
- B11 3EY
- B11 3HD
- B11 3RG
- B11 3RQ
- B11 3RU
- B11 3SA
- B11 3SB
There is currently no estimate as to when power will be restored to all the affected buildings.
