BirminghamWorld met some brilliant ambassadors for the city on a recent trip to town. Here’s what they told us about what they’re so proud of Birmingham. You can watch them speak in the video above too.

Dean says: “For me Birmingham is all about the art, all about the culture. I work in theatre myself. So for me the hive that is the creation of Birmingham- the art that’s in here - it’s just outstanding.

“The theatres, the local theatres, the local communities within art, the street art, the festival art. That’s why I’m here, it’s just a city full of art. And the people are incredibly, incredibly nice to you as well.”

Hasib says: “I think the diversity - you have so many different cultures, different people from different backgrounds and being united with other parts of the world without actually leaving the city.

“So you have so many different restaurants that are Oriental restaurants, Asian restaurants, just all over the place is amazing. You have different people, different cultures all mixing and integrating into one society. That’s pretty cool. Yeah.”
