The Met Office has issued an amber snow and ice warning for much of the Midlands, which comes into force at midday on Saturday and ends at 11:59pm on Sunday (January 5th.)
An amber weather warning for snow and ice covering the West Midlands is in place from 6pm on Saturday to Sunday night, the Met Office has said.

Hide AdTemperatures are expected to drop between 0 degrees and -1 degrees at the weekend. In Birmingham, temperatures are also expected to range between 0 degrees and 5 degrees on Sunday (January 5). Forecasters believe the region could see 5cm of snow this weekend across the region.
