Visitors to West Midlands Safari Park warned over delays due to temporary roadworks
Motorists have been warned to expect delays due to temporary roadworks outside the Safari Park.
Visitors to a popular safari park have been warned to expect possible delays over the next few days due to temporary road works.
West Midlands Safari Park has put out a message to warn visitors of the works on the A456 Kidderminster Road near the entrance to the park outside Bewdley.
The works, which began today and will run until Thursday, will see the central reservation outside the park closed, which will stop people from turning right into and out of the park.
The park has said that diversions will be in place and has said it will remain fully open throughout the works.
A spokesman for West Midlands Safari Park said: “If you're planning a visit to us over the next few days, please be aware of temporary roadworks on the A456 Kidderminster Road near the Safari Park entrance from Tuesday, June 9 to Thursday, June 11.
“Due to the works, the central reservation outside the Park will be closed, meaning right turns into and out of the attraction won't be possible.
“If you're affected, please continue to the nearest roundabout and follow any signed diversions to reach us safely.
“We recommend allowing a little extra time for your journey, as delays are expected.
“The Safari Park remains fully open and accessible throughout the roadworks.
“Thank you for your patience and we look forward to welcoming you soon.”
