Campaign launched to end Clean Air Zone charges in Birmingham
Over 1500 people have joined a campaign to put an end Birmingham’s Clean Air Zone charges. Those with vehicles which don’t meet the emissions standards have to pay a daily charge for travelling in the area. One commenter on the campaigns Facebook page said the scheme is “daylight robbery of the working-class”.

Police investigating a murder in Saltley are appealing for witnesses
West Midlands Police have launched a murder inquiry after a man was found with fatal injuries in Saltley in the early hours of Saturday 19th February.

Hide AdMuhammed Sohail, who was in his 20s was found in a car and was pronounced dead at the scene. Officers are currently appealing for anyone who may have further information to come forward.
