The West Midlands is braced for strong winds on Monday (November 13) as Storm Debi is set to arrive in the country.

The Met Office has issued a number of yellow weather warnings for parts of the country, with Birmingham set for strong winds today.

Wind gusts of up to 40mph are forecast for the city between 10am and 2pm. There will also be some heavy rain in the morning before the sun comes out later on n the day.

Mostly fine on Wednesday with brisk winds slowly easing, though the odd shower in the north. Rain sweeping through on Thursday, with winds increasing, but sunny spells return for Friday.
