Police arrest teen following Solihull machete attack

A teenager has been arrested as police continue to investigate serious disorder in Solihull on Wednesday (August 3) which left three other teenagers injured.
It happened in the car park of Marston Green Recreation Ground, Bickenhill Road, at around 4.50pm.

Hide AdOfficers were dispatched to the scene after police received reports that a group of teenagers were attacking each other with machetes.
A 17-year-old boy was found with a knife wound to his chest. He has undergone surgery and remains in hospital in a stable condition. Two other teenagers, aged 17 and 18, suffered minor injuries and have since been discharged from hospital.
On Friday (5 August) police arrested a 15-year-old boy on suspicion of attempted murder. He has been released on police bail while our enquiries continue.
