Posting under the handle @Komps4, a fan took to Twitter to share a conversation that they had with Kevin.

They claimed that the proud father is now an adopted City supporter, despite enrolling his son Jack in the Aston Villa academy, aged just six years old.

He explained how pleased he was with the way Manchester City had treated Jack since his £100m arrival at the club in 2021.

Kevin reportedly also told fans that he sat down with City manager Pep Guardiola to discuss a possible transfer during Jack Grealish’s days at Aston Villa.

As well as this, he revealed Jack turned down an offer from Manchester United.

Kevin previously revealed Grealish’s edge on the pitch is largely due to his experience playing Gaelic Football as a child. He told BirminghamLive: "It really helped him because he was knocked from pillar to post. It’s brutal compared to soccer.

“It really built up his upper body, players would bounce off him. It’s probably why he’s so strong today.”

Lifelong Villa supporter Kevin also reminisced on the times he and Jack would watch Gabby Agbonlahor every weekend using their season tickets.

Since his father kindly took the time to meet with supporters, Jack Grealish has since provided an assist for his team in their 1-0 FA Cup victory over Championship side Sheffield United.

His focus will now turn to City’s biggest game of the season, against title-contenders Arsenal.
