Jack Grealish has delighted fans with a snap showing himself with music royalty, Elton John, at London’s O2 Arena.

The former Villa midfielder, 27, from Birmingham, posed for an Instagram snap with the legendary singer after watching Elton’s show on Monday night (17 April).

He captioned the post, writing: “What an absolute legend! A pleasure to meet you @eltonjohn 💫🙌🏻”

Elton, 76, showed his appreciation, commenting: “Great to meet you too, @jackgrealish! Thanks for coming”

The England international’s most loyal fans reacted to his post with humorous comments.

The pop-legend’s show was part of his final tour which commenced in September 2022.

The London leg of Elton’s Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour wraps up in May with the final show scheduled for 30 May.

Speaking to The O2, Elton John said: “The Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour will take us to many places that have meant a lot to me over the last fifty years, but these UK shows will be incredibly special.”

Before the final show, Elton John will be visiting Germany, Spain, and Belgium for a total of 17 more shows.

Jack Grealish made the trip to London just days before his Manchester City side beat Bayern Munich to progress to the Champions League semi-finals on Wednesday evening (19 April).

The winger will now focus his attention on tomorrow’s (22 April) FA Cup semi-final at Wembley against Sheffield United.
