Whether natural or man made Birmingham and the West Midlands has plenty of examples of aesthetic beauty.

The region is home to some truly wonderful and relaxing spots, with the likes of Great Malvern and the Clent Hills offering some of the most attractive in the region. But what about Birmingham specifically?

I'm here today in Birmingham city centre to speak to the people here about their favourite scenes across the region.

Rob told me: “I like Sutton Park, really anywhere green, you know I don't remember the name of the park in Wolverhampton, is it just Wolverhampton Park, I don't know, off the Tettenhall Road anyway. But yeah, green spaces, we are a little bit limited for green spaces, especially in the centre of Birmingham. But yeah, Sutton Park is enormous, places like that really.

"I don't think that all the new builds in Birmingham are that pretty, all the glass architecture and stuff. You know, when you walk down the high street in Birmingham and you actually chance to look up and you look around, you do see some nice architecture and all this sort of steel and glass, I don't think is that pretty.”

Billy said: “I'd say Bournville is for me personally is like the place, I think because it's got like a lot of history, it's pretty and also there's like a lot put into the maintenance of it, so it doesn't always, I don't know, it just has like a sort of charm to it. I can be a bit more family friendly. And yeah, I like Bournville, I'd say. Bournville, or Moseley, or Stirchley, or Kings Heath.”

Alan said: “Well we've only been here less than a day, but I mean we went a quick stroll around the and all of that in the St Martin's Church, I think it's called down there. And just behind us all now, this magnificent architecture of the buildings here, the town hall I think it is, and the mayor's office or something.

"I'm not quite sure yet, we haven't got that far. But it's that sort of base.

"And we were in a hotel that's very high up and we're looking out and there's some spectacular buildings. And as you walk down the streets, if you look up, rather than down, the architecture, the red bricks, it is very impressive buildings here. And that's what I'm looking forward to, to see more of that."
