Alison Hammond has delighted her fans with a wholesome clip of herself chopping it up with global pop sensation, Beyoncé. The This Morning presenter, 48, from Birmingham, shared the video with her 1.3 million followers on Instagram.

Originally posted by the @loveofhuns Instagram page, Alison shared the post to her Instagram Story. In the video, the Queen of TV and Queen Bey create a drum beat for a song by clapping and clicking with their hands.

The This Morning presenter asks the Single Ladies singer: “Can you do this?” before proceeding to rhythmically clap and hit her shoulders whilst clicking to create a beat. Beyoncé immediately follows suit, and appears amazed by Alison’s unique talent, saying: “Oh man I’ve got to practice that! I think that’s hot!”

After the television and music royalty duo complete their second rendition of the beat, Beyoncé exclaims: “That’s actually some good drums for a song!”.

Fans responded to the wholesome video, with one saying: “They were vibing fr”, and another adding: “if only queen b brought the legendary Allison out 😂 imagine, gold”.

Alison captioned the post: “It was actually @thekatelawler [Kate Lawler] who taught me this”. The new Great British Bake Off presenter met Kate Lawler when they appeared on Big Brother together. The two formed a close relationship and have been friends ever since.

Kate said in a Facebook post in 2019: “17 and a half years ago I met Alison Hammond in Big Brother for series three of the reality show. We bonded immediately and as soon as it was over, I couldn’t wait to be reunited with her. We’ve been friends ever since”.

The interview clip comes just after Beyoncé’s first of five shows in London as part of her Renaissance World Tour. The superstar will perform at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Thursday 1 June, Saturday 3 June, and Sunday 4 June.
