As well as finding a large amount of heroin and crack cocaine they seized a firearm and bullets which Gordon had stashed in the home. Within the flat were Gordon’s personal belongings including a valid passport in his name despite his account that he didn’t live at the premises.

Forensic evidence was recovered belonging to the 37-year-old on one of the heroin parcels.

In March 2019 Gordon was arrested and taken into custody. He was later charged with possession of a firearm and ammunition, possession with intent to supply Class A heroin and crack cocaine and the production of Class B cannabis as well as being in possession of criminal property.
