A German restaurant is set to open in Birmigham city centre later this month (19 May).

The authentic German bratwurst food brand Extrawurst, which already has a restaurant in Merry Hill, will open its doors opposite Birmingham’s Victoria Square and very close to New Street train station.

The restaurant will operate as a standalone site with a small seating area it will also be supported by a delivery kitchen in the city which offers deliveries via Deliveroo and Just Eat.

Bratwurst has been a favourite at the city’s German market, becoming famous for its succulently meaty, perfectly seasoned, seductively fragrant sausages, and now Brummies will get the chance to enjoy the traditional food all year round.
