Today (17 April, 2023) parents across the country are finding out which school their little ones will be going to in the autumn, as offers for places at primary schools are released in the United Kingdom.
Children throughout Solihull, Birmingham and the West Midlands will learn which primary schools they will attend in September 2023. On National Offer Day, parents are notified of which primary school their child has been offered a place at for the upcoming academic year.
Parents can usually express a preference for certain schools when they apply, but there is no guarantee that their child will be offered a place at their preferred school. Certain admission criteria are used by schools to determine which children are accepted. These criteria are set by the local council or the school itself.
Solihull has a range of excellent schools, many which have received ‘outstanding’ or ‘good’ ratings. However, some aren’t doing quite as well.
With National Offer Day upon us, we’ve taken a look at all of the local primary schools in Solihull which have recieved Ofsted ratings since 2022.

The school received a Requires Improvement Ofsted rating in March 2023
