Parents of three and four-year-olds will soon find out today (April 17)what primary school has offered their child a place for the next academic year.
Children throughout Birmingham and the West Midlands will learn which primary schools they will attend in September 2023. Birmingham has a range of excellent primary and secondary schools, which have received ‘outstanding’ or ‘good’ ratings. However, some aren’t doing quite as well.
We’ve taken a look at all of the local schools which have recieved Ofsted ratings in 2023 so far.
Schools across the country are regularly inspected by the education watchdog and are graded on a four-point scale. Although they aren’t inspected every year.
‘Outstanding’ is the top rating a school can receive, ‘good’ is second, ‘requires improvement’ the third and ‘inadequate’ is the worst.
As mums and dads weigh up the different options, we have put together a list of the primary and secondary schools in the city which have received a rating which was published this year.
