Around 3,000 National Express West Midlands drivers will be participating in an indefinite strike from March 16, Unite the Union has said.

During that time several of the bus services won’t be plying and significant travel disruption is expected.

National Express has apologised to customers for the disruption.

They said: “We are sorry for the significant disruption this will cause and we want to reassure you that we’re doing all we can to minimise the impact on our customers and communities.

“Our drivers and engineers are hard-working people. They do a brilliant job and we are very proud of them; while we recognise this is a frustrating situation, we ask that you do not direct any frustration towards them as they continue to do their best.”

Here are the services that will be running during strike action:

4 - Birmingham - Solihull

5 - West Bromwich - Sutton Coldfield

6 - Birmingham - Solihull

6 - Dudley - Stourbridge

28 - Heartlands Hospital - Great Barr

51 - Birmingham - Walsall

87 - Birmingham - Dudley

97 - Birmingham - Chelmsley Wood

X4 - Birmingham - Falcon Lodge

X21 - Birmingham - Bartley Green
