Member of public hurt after lorry destroys bus shelter in town centre
Police are also urging people to take extra care when travelling through busy areas
A member of the public suffered minor injuries after a large goods vehicle (LGV) crashed into a bus stop in Bridgnorth town centre on Thursday, causing the structure to collapse.

Emergency services were called to the incident on High Street. Police, ambulance crews and partner agencies responded quickly, securing the area while the injured person received treatment at the scene.
The High Street was temporarily closed to allow emergency services to work safely and for local authorities to assess the damage. Repair work is now under way to make the area safe for pedestrians and road users.
In a statement, officers said they want residents to feel reassured that incidents of this nature are dealt with "quickly and professionally" and stressed that public safety remains their priority.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or has concerns about road safety in the area is encouraged to contact Bridgnorth Police.
