This will be the last bank holiday until June.

Supermarkets in Birmingham will have different opening times on Bank Holiday Monday, but opening times will go back to normal on May 3.

Here are the opening times for the major supermarkets in Birmingham across the upcoming bank holiday weekend.

Aldi

  • Saturday, 30 April: 8am - 10pm
  • Sunday, 1 May: 10am - 4pm
  • Monday, 2 May: 8am-8pm

Tesco

  • Saturday, 30 April: 8am - 10pm
  • Sunday, 1 May: 10am - 4pm

Tesco stores will operate normal opening hours on 30 April and 1 May.

On Bank Holiday Monday, Express stores in Birmingham will be open as normal.

Extra stores are due to be open for their Sunday hours on the bank holiday.

  • Saturday, 30 April: 8am - 11pm
  • Sunday, 1 May: 10am - 4pm
  • Monday, 2 May: 8am-8pm

Lidl shops in Birmingham will be open as usual on 30 April and 1 May.

They will operate slightly shorter hours on bank holiday Monday.
