Teenagers arrested after breaking into Erdington home
Three teenagers were arrested after breaking into a property in Erdington. The occupant was confronted by the men armed with knives, but as she began to scream they made their escape. The police believe the men broke into the wrong home, and following a short chase they were arrested for varying offences.
Smethwick cannabis plants seizure
A police raid at an address on Crown Street in Smethwick lead to the seizure of over 200 cannabis plants. The execution of the drugs warrant recovered £150,000 worth of cannabis. West Midlands Police have not confirmed if any arrests have been made.
Second teenager charged for shooting of 13 year-old boy in Hockley
A second teenager has been changed following the shooting of a 13 year old boy in Hockley. The 17 year old has been charged with attempted murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life. The victim remains in hospital and is continuing to receive medical treatment.
