Handsworth man charged with Kenneth Ford murder

West Midlands Police have revealed that a man has been charged with the murder of Kenneth Ford.
Officers explained that at the time of charging the suspect it was unclear how Kenneth, 30, died.

Hide AdHe was found collapsed inside a property on Colebrook Road, Yardley around 6pm on Monday (February 28).
A post mortem examination is due to take place.
Gary O’Neil, 30, of Kenilworth Road, Handsworth has appeared before the city’s magistrate’s court today (Thursday 3 March). He is accused of murdering, Mr Ford (pictured).
Following his short appearance, he was remanded in custody and will reappear at Birmingham Crown Court on Monday.


Speaking about their devastating loss, Kenneth’s family said: “Kenneth was a lovely man with a heart of gold, he would give anything to anyone and none of us can understand why he was taken so young.”
