The first 500 customers will get a free sandwich

A viral sandwich shop that boasts 49,500 TikTok followers will open its doors in Birmingham this week, offering free sandwiches to the first 500 customers.

The family-owned sandwich shop, simply named ‘Sandwich Sandwich’, is located on Temple Street and is opening in Birmingham on Thursday (October 22) following success in London and Bristol.

The first 500 customers through the door from midday can claim a free sandwich.

Founder Nick Kleiner said he can’t wait to be a part of Birmingham’s brilliant food scene.

“Opening our first Birmingham store is a hugely proud moment for me and for everyone at Sandwich Sandwich as we’ve poured our hearts into building this family business.

“Birmingham is a city with a big appetite and a brilliant food scene, and we can’t wait to be part of it.

“We’re coming with generous sandwiches, bold flavours and a team determined to make its mark in the community. This is a big moment for us, and we’re only getting started.”
