West Midlands flooding: M40 Warwickshire motorway services and A46 closed
Severe flooding has caused major disruptions along the M40 in Warwickshire, effectively closing motorway services. Efforts are underway to manage the situation as water levels slowly recede.
Due to substantial flooding overnight, the northbound M40 Welcome Break Warwick Services between J12 and J13 remains closed. It is expected to stay closed throughout the day.

The A46 in Warwickshire also remains closed both ways between the A3400 (StratforduponAvon) and the A439 due to flooding.
Water levels are still slowly receding but taking some time as the flood water is coming from an adjacent field. Traffic is being diverted locally.
This update was issued as of 7.30am on Sunday, March 23.
