England football fans were seen queuing round the corner to get into a local Brummie pub, The Beeches, for the Euro 2024 final.
Located on 116 Thornbridge Ave, Birmingham, The Beeches became a hub of excitement and anticipation as fans gathered to cheer on their team.

The atmosphere was electric, filled with chants, songs, and the shared hope of witnessing England lift the trophy.
England secured their place in the final by defeating the Netherlands in the semi-finals. The final showdown saw England face Spain. Despite England’s best efforts, Spain emerged victorious with a 2-1 win. Yet, the spirit of the fans remained undeterred.
The Beeches, along with pubs throughout England, were given permission to extend their operating hours until 1am.

Birmingham pubs reported a 77% increase in pint sales during England’s Euro 2024 matches, according to data from Access Hospitality.
This surge in sales came as a relief to venues grappling with rising costs and staff shortages. The extended pub opening hours offered a chance for even higher income, which was especially advantageous in light of the industry’s recent difficulties.
Many pub owners and staff seized this opportunity by organising special events and promotions.
