Police are looking to trace a man from Washwood Heath who is wanted on recall to prison.

The force are appealing for the public’s help to locate Gerald Maughan, 34.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police, said: “If you see Maughan, do not approach him, call us on 999. If you have information on his whereabouts, please use Live Chat at http://west-midlands.police.uk quoting 20/14454/21.”

Teen charged with the murder of Birmingham 16-year-old

In other news, a teenage boy has been charged with the murder of 16-year-old Sekou Doucoure.

Sekou was stabbed in Nursery Road on Tuesday 12 July. Sadly nothing could be done to save him and he died at the scene. A post mortem examination confirmed he died of a stab wound. A 16-year-old boy, who can’t be named for legal reasons, will appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court this morning (20 July).

A 25-year-old man was also arrested in Newtown on suspicion of Sekou’s murder. He remains in custody for questioning.
