Covid-19: the Birmingham neighbourhoods with fastest rising case rates

Coronavirus infection rates have risen steeply across the UK in the past week, official figures show.
There were 327,467 positive test results in the week to December 3, up 11% from the week before.

Hide AdAt a regional level, Northern Ireland has the highest infection rates in the UK, with 670 cases per 100,000 people, followed by South East England, with 659 cases per 100,000.
Scotland has the lowest rate, with 358 cases per 100,000.
At neighbourhood level, Covid-19 case rates have been published for the week to December 2.
Here are the neighbourhoods in Birmingham, which have seen the biggest rise in case rates in the past week.
1. Balsall Heath West & Kingswood Road
Balsall Heath West & Kingswood Road has seen case rates of positive Covid cases rise by 533.9% from 42.5 cases per 100,000 people to 269.4.

Bromford has seen case rates of positive Covid cases rise by 159.9% from 88.6 cases per 100,000 people to 230.3.

Springfield & Hall Green West has seen case rates of positive Covid cases rise by 118.8% from 143.7 cases per 100,000 people to 314.4.
5. Stetchford
Stetchford has seen case rates of positive Covid cases rise by 100.0% from 149.4 cases per 100,000 people to 298.8
6. Selly Oak Park & Lodge Hill
