Covid-19 cases in Birmingham: see the latest rates for every neighbourhood
Government figures show one neighbourhood has seen a 250% increase in the number of Covid-19 cases in the first two weeks of September
and live on Freeview channel 276
Covid infection rates are rising across 38% of Birmingham’s neighbourhoods - with one district seeing a 250% increase.
The latest government data shows 51 of Birmingham’s 132 districts have seen cases rise, while seven areas have seen rates remain static.

The remaining 74 districts have seen cases drop - with one neighbourhood seeing a 68% decrease.
The data shows cases from August 31 to September 14.
The World Health Organisation has set a 5% threshold for determining if the pandemic is under control. But Birmingham has 45 neighbourhoods above this level.
The figures break Birmingham down into 132 areas of similar population size used for statistical purposes which are known as MSOAs - Middle Layer Super Output Areas which are a geographic hierarchy designed to improve the reporting of small area statistics in England and Wales.
