A 19-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of affray as the investigation into the Boxing Day murder of Cody Fisher at Birmingham’s Crane nightclub continues.
The teenager was arrested at an address in Kenilworth this morning (7 February) on suspicion of being involved in the violence that happened at the Digbeth venue on the night.

Three men have now been charged with the murder of Cody, aged 23. Kami Carpenter, aged 21, and Remy Gordon, aged 22, were charged with murder and affray on December 31, 2022.
Reegan Anderson was detained on 12 January in connection with the death of Cody, who was fatally wounded at the Crane club on 26 December.
The club had its licence revoked following a Birmingham City Council Licensing Committee hearing on January 24. The decision means that following petitions by West Midlands Police and local businesses, the nightclub is now set to remain closed.

What has West Midlands Police said about the latest arrest?
Detective Inspector Michelle Thurgood said: “We continue to support Cody’s family, and have made them aware of this latest development.
