Cadent to create 100 jobs with new Birmingham warehouse
Gas distribution network has signed a deal for huge new hub which will allow to consolidate its operations in the city
Around 100 new jobs are set to be created as a utility company consolidates its operations into a major new base.
Cadent has agreed a new ten-year deal for a warehouse on the Bromford Gate industrial and logistics park in Birmingham.
Located adjacent to Cadent's existing National Distribution Centre, the 80,000 sq ft unit DC4 will enable the company to consolidate its Birmingham-based operations at Bromford Gate which is owned and run by Prologis.

It is now undertaking fit-out work at the site in Castle Bromwich and is aiming to be operational in the early part of next year.
Cadent manages 82,000 miles of pipes across the West Midlands and throughout the English regions.
Real estate strategy manager Robert Martin said: "Bromford Gate is in a prime position for national distribution and, with Birmingham being an important location for Cadent, the availability of the site was both well timed and well placed.
"We progressed quickly to secure the unit and look forward to being operational on completion of the fit out works."
Tom Price, leasing director at Prologis, added: "It's been great to work with Cadent on this deal which represents a new relationship for both companies.
"We look forward to doing more together in the future."
