Man charged with murder after woman is found dead in Ladywood, Birmingham

A man has been charged with the murder of a woman who died after being found seriously injured in Birmingham.

Police were called to Freeth Street, in Ladywood, Birmingham, after the victim was discovered in a wooded area at around 8.45pm oon Tuesday night (August 1). Despite the efforts of paramedics who rushed to the scene, nothing could be done to save her and she died from her injuries.

Filmon Andmichaen, aged 30, is accused of killing the woman, in her 20s, who was found in the woodland area.

Andmichaen, of Great Barr, is due before Birmingham magistrates today (August 3). A post-mortem is due to be held today.
