The May Day bank holiday is almost upon us, and many shoppers will be hoping to head into town over the next few days to enjoy some extra time off.

Unlike with the Easter weekend, this bank holiday weekend will be a single extra day off on Monday (2 May) rather than two.

It’s a great excuse to indulge in some retail therapy and where better to do it than the Bullring and Grand Central?

But does the shopping centre have some different opening and closing times over the bank holiday weekend? - here is what you need to know before you head off.

Bullring and Grand Central May bank holiday opening times

The Bullring will operate normal opening hours this weekend and on bank holiday Monday.

This means it will be open from 9am - 8pm on Saturday (30 April), 11am - 5pm on Sunday (1 May), and from 10am - 7pm on Monday (2 May).

All car parks will also be open as usual on Satuday and on bank holiday Monday, but on Sunday (1 May) the Park Street entrance will closed due to the Great Birmingham Run, therefore access to Centre Car Park will be via Smallbrook Queensway only for this period.
