Kings Heath murder: two arrested after man stabbed to death on high street

Two people have been arrested for murder following the fatal stabbing that happened in Kings Heath on Wednesday (26 April).

Police were called to the High Street, near the junction with Queensbridge Road, just before 2.25am after a man suffered serious injuries. Despite the efforts of emergency services, a 33-year-old man died of his injuries and a murder investigation was launched.

Today (27 April), a 20-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman have been arrested on suspicion of murder and are currently in custody helping us with our enquiries.

Detectives investigating the murder are appealing for anyone who was in the Kings Heath, High Street area between 1.30am and 3am to come forward with information.
