New data can show the areas of Birmingham which are home to the highest number of single people in the city.
Figures from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) show the total number of those in Birmingham who have never married and never in a civil partnership within Birmingham’s local authority.
The data follows our story which looked into Census data that shone a light on divorce rates in the UK.
Now, we have anlysed the data to unveil which Birmingham neighbourhoods to those who have registered as ‘never married and never in a civil partnership’.
The ONS data looks at the Birmingham wards these people currently live in:

1. Bournbrook & Selly Oak
In Bournbrook and Selly Park, 16,529 people have never married or never registered a civil partnership | google

2. Ladywood
In Ladywood, 15,234 people have never married or never registered a civil partnership | google

3. Soho and Jewellery Quarter
12,031 people have never married or never registered a civil partnership | google

4. North Edgbaston
9067 people have never married or never registered a civil partnership | google
