The Kings Coronation bank holiday weekend is upon us - and what better way to enjoy the long weekend than a trip to the pub.
Nearly every weekend in May is a long one - and the nation is preparing to mark the Coronation of King Charles III on May 6 with an extra day off on Monday.
There are a huge number of events being held across the city, including the big screen and free entertainment at Centenary Square.
And hundreds of neighbourhoods are coming together to hold a traditional British street party.
Birmingham is home to a huge number of places named after royalty - from Prince Andrew Crescent in Rubery, Kings Road in Kings Heath, Kingstanding, Kings Norton - and so many more roads, and, of course, the Royal Town of Sutton Coldfield.
But here’s a look at the pubs of the city named after royalty and a look at whether or not they are celebrating the Coronation of King Charles III.

This historic pub prides itself on a warm welcome, great drinks and cosy meals. There’s live sport too. And it’s planning a host of events to mark King Charles’ Coronation - where it says ‘you can celebrate like royalty’ with a new range of cocktails and chefs making food fit for a king with traditional English dishes and a tapas selection. 11. Prince of Wales, Cambridge Street, city centre

It serves award winning cask ales, wines, spirits, food and cocktails. It hasn’t announced any specific events. But it is close to a lot of city centre celebrations. | Google Maps

12. Prince of Wales, Moseley
This traditional cask marque accredited real ale pub has been at the heart of Moseley Village since the 1840s and was rebuilt in 1887. The latest owners take pride in retaining the pub as a traditional victoria public house. There’s a huge garden out the back, well worth checking out if you haven’t visited it previously. It shows a variety of live sporting events. Next weekend they’ll be pouring some special Coronation beers, and you’ll be able to watch the ceremony live from Westminster on the screens. Like most weekends, there’s live music too. | Google Maps
