5. The Old Joint Stock, Birmingham city centre - Recommended
The Good Pub Guide describes it as a big bustling Fullers pie-and-ale pub with impressive Victorian façade and interior, and a small back terrace and its own theatre. And adds: “This is an impressively flamboyant setting for a pint and a pie”. The Grade II listed building opposite Birmingham Cathedral is bedecked with chandeliers hanging from an eye-catching pink and gilt ceiling. 7. The Plough, Harborne - Worth a visit
The Good Pub Guide parises this popular bar for its food (especially the stone-baked pizzas) and regular offers. The outdoor paved garden gets the thumbs up, as well as the various events incluidng ginand wine tastings. | Google Maps

8. Post Office Vaults, New Street, city centre - Worth a visit
The Good Pub Guide like the downstars bar with two entrances where you can get 13 ciders/perries, eight real ales including a house beer from Kinver (First Class Stamp) and over 350 international bottled beers.
