This is after an incident in Slade Road - which previously made headlines for being “Britain’s roughest street“ - in which a man was stabbed on July 18. Police had issued an appeal for witnesses following the incident on July 18 - which was also attended by West Midlands Ambulance Service. Woods, from Tipton, will appear at Birmingham Crown Court on August 30 for trial and has been remanded in custody until that date.
