The 14 ‘heartbreak’ Birmingham neighbourhoods with the highest number of divorces
We can unveil the Birmingham areas which have the highest number of divorces
New data has revealed the areas of Birmingham which have the most divorces.
Figures from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) show the total number of divorces or civil partnerships dissolved in each Birmingham ward recorded within Birmingham’s local authority.
The data follows our story earlier this week (September 27) which looked into Census data that shone a light on divorce rates in the UK.
The data showed us that Birmingham is one of the nation’s leading hotspots for divorce. The city has been one of the UK’s cities with the highest rate of divorce for at least a decade, having also topped the 2013 list of the most common locations to file for divorce.
