Disorder on Colmore Row investigations continue as suspects remain in custody

Police arrested four men after they were called to reports of disorder on Colmore Row in Birmingham city centre.
Trouble flared at the busy road in the business district around 6.30pm on Sunday (January 7). Four men were arrested - one has since been de-arrested. Officers said three were arrested on suspicion of robbery, while another, aged 36, was arrested for recall to prison. Two men, aged 37 and 42 remain in custody.

Hide AdReporting the incident on X, formerly Twitter, police said: “Four men have been arrested following a disorder in #Birmingham city centre. We were called to Colmore Row yesterday (Sun) at around 6.30pm, where officers found four men involved in the disorder.
“Three were arrested on suspicion of robbery. One has since been de-arrested, while two men aged 37 and 42 remain in custody. One other, aged 36 was arrested for recall to prison. Enquiries are ongoing."
