Three men, aged 28, 29 and 31, and a 20-year-old woman were arrested. They remain in police custody for questioning.

A photo posted on social media shows the building at 55 Colmore Row covered in what appears to be red paint. West Midlands Police confirmed that windows had also been smashed. The force said that the four men have now been arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage.

Protests from Palestine Action said they had targted the building because due to its connections with property company LondonMetric, alleging it was in partnership with Israel's largest weapons company Elbit Systems.

Palestine Action posted on X, formerly Twitter: "Palestine Action spray, smash and shut down the landlords of Leicester’s Israeli weapons factory! London Metric have Palestinian blood on their hands." LondonMetric have been approached for comment.
