Appeal to trace man with distinctive crucifix tattoo after bank card stolen in West Midlands

Police have launched an appeal to identify a man after a suspected stolen bank card was used in a West Midlands shop.

West Midlands Police say the card was used at a con convenience store on Remembrance Road, Coventry at around 4.55pm on August 22.

It is believed the card was stolen during a burglary, which took place earlier that day, sparking a CCTV investigation.

A 37-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of burglary in August and has been bailed pending further enquiries.

Now, police are appealing for help to identify the man in the image they have shared.

He is said to have a distinctive tattoo of a crucifix on the right side of his torso.
