Holidaymakers across the Midlands will have even more choice when planning their next getaway, with a host of new flight routes set to launch from Birmingham and East Midlands airports.
From sun-soaked Mediterranean hotspots to city breaks and lesser-known coastal destinations, airlines are expanding their schedules with a raft of new services.
Listed below is every new route announced so far, when they'll start operating and which airlines will be flying them.
Birmingham Airport
Tunisia
Tickets to the new destination Tunisia go on sale for next summer (May 1 to October 30, 2027) from Birmingham Airport. The addition comes in response to demand from local holidaymakers and independent travel agents, giving customers access to beautiful beaches, rich history and culture in the North African favourite.
Cairo
EGYPTAIR is launching a new four-times-a-week route between Birmingham Airport and Cairo International Airport. It will operate out of Birmingham Airport from October 27, 2026.
Jersey
Jet2 announced Jersey as a new 2027 destination from Birmingham Airport, with three weekly services operating throughout summer. The airline will introduce flights and holidays from Birmingham Airport to the scenic destination from May 2 to October 10.
Agadir
easyJet has announced a new route and package holidays from Birmingham Airport to Agadir, Morocco. The new route will take off this winter with seats and package holidays available to book this month. All packages include flights, hotel, 23kg luggage and transfers.
Thassos
Jet2 launched another new Greek destination from Birmingham Airport, the stunning island of Thassos, which is one of Greece’s best-kept secrets and is now available to book for summer 2027. The airline has holidays on sale from Birmingham Airport from May 12 to September 29.
East Midlands Airport
Tunisia
Jet2 will operate weekly Saturday services to the North African hotspot from May 1 to October 30 from East Midlands Airport.
Paris
Jet2 has added flights and city breaks to Paris to its programme from East Midlands Airport for summer 2027, giving customers the option to visit the famous city with the UK’s favourite airline and city break specialist.
