Taking your children to soft play is a great way to spend a couple of hours and tire them out at the same time.

It’s a great time to let them go off and play with the chance to spend some time for yourself or chatting to other parents.

Food hygiene ratings are really important and ensure that the businesses are correctly handling their food and the cleanliness of the business.

The food hygiene rating scheme is run through local authorities that visit businesses to look at various areas where issues may arise.

For example the inspector will look at how food is stored and prepared, the cleanliness of the establishment and how food safety is managed.

The inspectors then give businesses a rating of 0-5 and this is displayed on a green sticker which you can see in the window of most establishments.

However, it is voluntary to display these stickers so if you want more information on a businesses food hygiene rating then you can check the Food Standard Agency’s rating checker.

Some of the higher rated establishments included the Legoland Discovery Centre and Scallywags.

Legoland Discovery Centre is inside the arena and has many options available for tickets.

This is a great option for slightly older children but is open to younger children too.
