The spectacular Disney on Ice is coming to Birmingham later this year, with many of your favourite characters taking to the ice.

The show has an extended stay in Birmingham, so there will be plenty of chances to get your hands on tickets.

Ahead of buying your ticket, here’s all you need to know about the show, including when it takes place, where it will be, and which characters you’ll see.

When is Disney on Ice in Birmingham?

The ice-based extravaganza is in Birmingham for five days, and in this time there will be multiple performances.

The show is in Birmingham from Wednesday, 30 November to Sunday, 4 December and will be at The resorts World Arena

  • Manchester: AO Arena from 2 – 6 November 2022
  • Aberdeen: P&J Live from 10 – 13 November 2022
  • Belfast: The SSE Arena from 18– 20 November 2022
  • Birmingham: Resorts World Arena from November 30 – December 4, 2022
  • Newcastle: Utilita Arena from 7 – 11 December 2022
  • Sheffield: Utilita Arena from 15 – 18 December 2022
  • London: The O2 from 22 – 31 December

How much are tickets to the show?

Disney on ice presents Dream Big tickets are on sale now for all shows across the touring schedule in Birmingham.

Prices start at £23.50 and increase depending on where in the arena you would like to sit.

For some of the Birmingham shows, rink side seats have already sold out, but there is good availability in other areas of the venue.

You can book tickets through The Ticket Factory, a ticketing partner of Resorts World Arena Birmingham.

Who will be taking to the ice?

The show features all of your favourite Disney characters from films and animations both old and new.

Disney icons such as Mickey and Minnie Mouse will be joined by later Disney creations such as Moana and Maui, Miguel from Disney Pixar’s Coco, Rapunzel, Jasmine, Ariel, Aurora, Belle and Cinderella.

What is the show about?

Believing is just the beginning at Disney On Ice presents Dream Big.

Miguel aspires to be a musician and journeys through the Land of the Dead to unlock his family’s history.

Moana and Maui bravely restore the stolen heart of Te Fiti, Anna and Elsa save their kingdom and the Disney Princesses inspire with stories of strength, determination and kindness.

Can I take a bag into the arena?

Some bags are permitted, but they must be smaller than a certain size.

A spokesperson for Resorts World Arena Birmingham said: “Your next visit to Resorts World Arena may be a little different to how things were previously (for obvious reasons) and one of the things that are changing, is our Bag Policy.

“Now, we understand some of you will definitely need to bring some essential bits to the show, if you do, then your bag **MUST** be the following...

  • No bigger than A4 in size (21cm x 30cm x 19cm)
  • Maximum of 2 compartments
  • Rucksacks are not permitted
