With spring in the air in Birmingham, going outdoors on walks is a must and a dog is the perfect partner for it. Walking a dog can become a way for you to get back into an active lifestyle as well.
Dogs are known for their loyalty and love, and can provide you with constant companionship. They can become an important member of your family and can be a great source of comfort and support.
Birmingham RSPCA is home to many abandoned and rescued dogs seeking a second chance of having a family. Some are already housetrained and know basic commands, while others might need some patience.
Whether you are a first-time dog owner or an experienced one, there is a pooch out there for everyone.
Here are nine dogs that are looking for a forever home at the RSPCA centre in Birmingham:

5. Poppy
Poppy loves her walkies and can sometimes pull on the lead, new owners will need to be active to provide her with the exercise she loves and needs. In the right quiet, experienced, adult home Poppy will blossom before your eyes. | RSPCA

6. Max
Max is a real character; for example, if you sit on the sofa he will even use you as a human slide, jumping on your lap and sliding upside down, down your legs! He will also be very affectionate when calm and settled. RSPCA are looking for active and capable adopters, experienced with bull-breeds and the rescue and rehabilitation process to provide Max with his new start in life. | rspca

7. Luna
RSPCA are looking for a stable, adult only home for Luna with some experience of larger bull-breeds (although Luna is actually very petite for a Presa Canario X) and experience with nervey dogs who are happy to come and visit Luna a few times to build a bond with her before transitioning her into her new life. Luna is not social with other dogs but when she is bonded to her handler she is no trouble at all. | RSPCA

8. Ronda
An owner with experience of positive based training will be ideal. This will help form Ronda into the well rounded adult she has the ability to be. An active adult home will be perfect. She will thrive with plenty of exercise and interactive play time. | RSPCA
