With spring in the air in Birmingham, going outdoors on walks is a must and a dog is the perfect partner for it. Walking a dog can become a way for you to get back into an active lifestyle as well.
Dogs are known for their loyalty and love, and can provide you with constant companionship. They can become an important member of your family and can be a great source of comfort and support.
Birmingham RSPCA is home to many abandoned and rescued dogs seeking a second chance of having a family. Some are already housetrained and know basic commands, while others might need some patience.
Whether you are a first-time dog owner or an experienced one, there is a pooch out there for everyone.
Here are nine dogs that are looking for a forever home at the RSPCA centre in Birmingham:
1. Snoop
This amazing lad has gone through extensive rehabilitation work with the kennels team after being removed from a very unpredictable and frightening home environment. RSPCA Birmingham are looking for a stable, adult only home with experience of transitioning rescue dogs into a home environment where a consistent and predictable routine can be set up for Snoop to help him relax and really start to enjoy life. | RSPCA
2. Kita
Kita has lived with dogs previously but her owners said she was very bossy, and wouldn’t want to socialise with others when out and about. RSPCA Birmingham have found she can be a bit of a diva but she responds well to her handler and likes to be told what a good girl she is when she listens to you. New owners will need to continue her reward based training when out and about. | RSPCA
3. Stella
RSPCA are looking for a bullbreed - experienced, active, adult home who can provide Stella the time, exercise, mental stimulation and most importantly love that she is so in need of. Stella could be very playful with dogs when she first arrived in our care, unfortunately over her time in kennels she has become a little tired of being around so many dogs and for now she would have to be the only animal in a home. | RSPCA
4. Mischief
He could live with another suitable dog in the right home, providing good meets at the RSPCA Birmingham centre. He could live in a family home where kids, if present, are of mid-teen age and older. They are looking for active, capable adopters with some experience of rescue dogs and / or dogs of similar breed to understand Mischief and help him settle into his fantastic new life. | RSPCA
